The Malco SRC24A is a Compound Leverage Channel Shear that cuts through 20 gauge metal studs and runner faster, easier and more economically than any other tool on the market. The Compound Leverage Channel Shear completes a cut in one easy stroke without deforming the metal channel. The die assembly assures that the cutting action is clean and precise. Hollow ground hardened steel blade can be resharpened or easily replaced. A 36" long handle provides additional leverage making cutting with this shear almost effortless. The Compound Leverage Channel Shear is lightweight and portable enough to be where you want it, when you need it. The shear features a rugged all steel and bolt construction and the handle has a red comfort vinyl grip. The Malco SRC24A Compound Leverage Shear cuts 3 basic channel sizes: 1-5/8", 2-1/2" & 3-5/8" in studs and accommodating runners.

Made of durable aluminum the lightweight shear weighs only 16 pounds, and is very easy to handle. The 20-inch blade makes cutting large shingles easy, and the slide-in scale makes this shear much smaller for easier storage and transport. An included inlaid tape measure and angle guide make straight cuts or valley and hip cuts quick and easy. A flip-up roof hook, and rubber feet allow the cutter be used on steep pitched roofs. Blades are easily sharpened, and low-cost replacement blades are available.
